I’m New

The best way to get to know us is to join us on a Sunday for our morning or evening service. Learn more below about how to find us and what happens at Townhill Baptist Church.

Our Beliefs

We are a Bible-believing evangelical church. Click here to read a more detailed statement of our beliefs.

Our Meetings

We meet every Sunday morning and evening to worship the Lord through song, prayer, and the expositional preaching of God’s word.

Throughout the week we meet for Bible study & prayer, and also hold various events for children and youth.

One Sunday a month our Good News Group meets, which is an inclusive group for adults with additional needs, providing accessible worship and teaching about Jesus.

Our Location

Townhill Baptist Church is located on Powys Avenue, Townhill, Swansea, SA1 6PH.

Sunday Services

When and where

We meet at 10.30am every Sunday morning for an all-age service. We also meet at 6.00pm every Sunday evening. Both meetings take place in our church building on Powys Avenue in Townhill.

WHAT TO EXPECT

On Sunday morning we have an all-age service. Everyone begins the service together. After about 30 minutes of song worship, prayer, reading and a kids talk, the children aged 0-13 (up to year 8) go to crèche and Sunday School until the end of the service. All leaders and helpers are fully DBS-checked. The adults stay for the sermon and final songs.

Our meetings last for about an hour, and coffee and tea are served afterwards. People often stay after the services to chat and to get to know one another.

ONLINE

Both meetings are streamed via Zoom - please contact us if you would like to join any of our meetings online. You can view our sermons online, as well as visit our YouTube channel and connect with us via Facebook.
