Children & Youth

We are a church for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest – children and young people are important to us, and we believe that they are important to God.

We have a number of regular and one-off activities for children, young people and families. All leaders and helpers are part of the church, fully DBS-checked and receive regular training. All our kids activities are free and open to the community.

Sunday Mornings

All children and young people join in the all-age service on Sunday mornings for the first part, then leave to go to their own groups. We encourage our young people to stay in the main service with the adults when they feel ready to do so.

There is a pre-school creche which includes a short Bible story and activity, toys, and time for a drink and snack. We also have a group for school-age children with age-appropriate teaching from the Bible, activity sheets and time for a drink and snack. Children leave with leaders and are taken to their rooms, and are brought back at the end of the service.

Townhill Toddlers

Our toddler group meets from 10am – 11:30am every Tuesday during term-time. All children from birth to pre-school age and their carers are welcome.

We have a lovely, friendly atmosphere and provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children. Enjoy playtime, craft, singing, refreshments and more!

Friday Fun Club

Children from Reception to Year 6 are welcome to join our Friday Fun Club, from 5-6pm every Friday during term-time. Come play games, enjoy crafts, hear Bible stories and more!

Friday Youth Club

Young people from Year 7 upwards meet from 6.30-7.30 alternate Fridays during term-time.

Activities include nerf nights, olympics, volleyball, tenpin bowling, as well as free food and a look at what the Bible teaches us. It is loads of fun and all free.
