As I write these words, it is the 90^th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, when hundreds of thousands of young soldiers died in the "war to end all wars"(1914-18)

But it didn't end all wars- far from it, the Second World War followed (1939-1945) and, since then, there has been a war somewhere every day on this planet! Why?

What's wrong? Why is the world such a mess? Why is there bad news every day on TV?

Something is wrong!  Something so serious that politicians cannot solve it, education can't sort it out - every day in UK 20 women raped; 27 schoolgirls pregnant plus child porn and abuse plus broken hearts as boy dumps girl etc

The something that is wrong is called SIN (shows itself in pride, envy. hatred, greed, etc) and is basically putting self first!

Jesus came to wipe away our sins (IF we turn around to trust in Him) plus, give us the power of the Holy Spirit to live a new life.
