Why doesn't God stop all evil right now?

I'm sure you have met some nasty people  -  we all have. But then there are some people we think are lovely, kind. So why do nasty things happen to these nice people?

We can easily explain some nasty things that happen like murder, rape, child abuse etc because there is evil in peoples hearts (SIN!) but what about Tsunamis and tornados and cancer and earthquakes? You can't blame people for that! And, surely, if there's a God - why doesn't He stop those things? Why doesn't God stop all evil right now?

The Bible's answer is that if God was to get rid of all evil right now then He would have to get rid of me!  SIN has invaded God's world and has wrecked us and also ruined the entire planet. The whole of creation has been damaged by SIN and so this dangerous world is the best God can give us at the moment.

Almighty God promises a new life on a new earth (where everything is so perfect there are NO TEARS!) for those who have been made ready for this glory by trusting in His Son.
